The Duke University Hart Leadership Program (Duke HLP), part of the Sanford School of Public Policy, is dedicated to helping students unlock the power of leadership in public life. Through a blend of experiential learning and intellectual exploration, the program equips students to tackle challenges facing both local and global communities.

In need of a custom website design to inform prospective students about their offerings, Duke HLP partnered with Kompleks Creative. Our goal was to declutter and streamline the site, making it more user-friendly and visually engaging. After assessing the website’s performance, we developed an improved information architecture to organize content more effectively.

To evoke excitement and encourage action, we incorporated Duke’s signature blues alongside vibrant accents of orange and yellow. The result is a modern, responsive WordPress website that not only honors the program’s rich history but also highlights its current work and initiatives in a compelling, accessible way.
