The Wilson Center for Science and Justice at Duke University is dedicated to advancing criminal justice reform by focusing on the accuracy of criminal cases, equity in criminal outcomes, and addressing behavioral health needs. Seeking to position themselves as a leading research center, the Wilson Center partnered with Kompleks Creative for a comprehensive website redesign.

To enhance user experience (UX) and accessibility, we reorganized the content by key focus areas and implemented a filterable system that allows visitors to easily search and access publications. Our web design approach prioritized both functionality and ease of content management, ensuring that the site could be easily maintained through WordPress.

The result is a more visually dynamic website design featuring bold colors, geometric shapes and layered design elements that reflect the center’s innovative work. This redesign not only elevates the center’s digital presence but also strengthens its role as a premier resource in criminal justice reform.
