Originally part of Durham’s Art of Cool Fest, the Art of Cool Project aims to activate the community in a unique way—a summer jazz camp and a one-day conference. The StArt of Cool provides education for students interested in learning more about the performance and fundamentals of jazz. The Innovate Your Cool conference touches on how art can be essential to world change.

As a 2018 presenting sponsor, Kompleks Creative provided web design services for the nonprofit organization. We incorporated large photos from previous years to depict the experience of participating in or attending the programs. The end result is a website design that provides the element of “cool” through its use of color, while enforcing their brand.
