HEAL (Honest Education Action and Leadership) Together is a collaborative initiative between Race Forward, the NYU Metro Center, and the Schott Foundation for Public Education. Their mission is to partner with grassroots community organizations to defend and advance equity, justice, and the public good in America’s public schools.

In need of a brand refresh, HEAL Together partnered with Kompleks Creative to create a visual identity that reflected their values and goals. For the logo design, we crafted a symbol featuring books arranged within an upward-pointing arrow, representing progress and advancement. The shading and overlapping elements symbolize unity, diversity, and inclusion, while the books evoke education and knowledge. We introduced a bold, vibrant color palette of blue, yellow, orange, and purple, which ties into the Race Forward brand while adding energy and appeal.

The Kompleks team also developed a custom WordPress website designed to captivate and inspire visitors. To keep users engaged, we incorporated interactive elements that load as users scroll through the page. The result is a dynamic, engaging web design that not only informs visitors but also provides valuable tools for grassroots movement building.
