Implementing a CMS to Make Updates Easier
South Piedmont Community College serves students in Anson and Union counties in south-central North Carolina. They needed to keep pace with the ever-changing technology used by their target audience of prospective and current students. Their existing website lacked mobile-responsiveness and their content managers were struggling with adding and changing content to the very rigid template they were using, leading SPCC to have to spend more money bringing in outside assistance. They wanted a visually appealing website design that would allow them the flexibility to update their content easily and frequently in-house.
Kompleks Creative was able to create a template for their homepage and interim pages that achieved all these goals. The new website design feels modern and youthful, while providing an intuitive user experience (UX) in terms of information architecture. The templates we developed for SPCC allowed them to easily make changes to their content on their own via WordPress without needing to call in the cavalry.
