The NC Mutual Life Insurance Company was founded in 1898 and is the largest and oldest African American insurance company in the United States. With its long history of success, NC Mutual sought a refreshed web presence that reflected the quality of its products and upheld its widely-known name. The website redesign also needed to honor its history while appealing to a diverse audience in search of reliable insurance.

To address these goals, Kompleks Creative integrated historic images into a clean, structured layout common of the insurance industry’s aesthetic. To target visitors seeking individual products, group products, or career opportunities, we created large navigation items that guide users to relevant insurance information. The natural, yet bold color palette communicates security and assurance.

Simple carousels and interactive elements further help users find the right products. With WordPress integration, updating the website’s content is equally effortless for the NC Mutual team.
