Bee Downtown is a self-described “bee business”—they put custom beehives atop downtown business locations, simultaneously aiding the conservation of the honeybee and enhancing the urban landscape.

A small, homegrown company on the cusp of major growth, Bee Downtown needed help to create a new digital presence that was scalable and reflected their values. Kompleks Creative put together a website design aesthetic that captured all the things that Bee Downtown is—urban, hip, awake to environmental issues and with just a little touch of whimsy. The overwhelmingly positive reception of the new website design just goes to show; sometimes you gotta think outside the hive.
