Beyù Caffè is an American coffeehouse, bistro and bar offering everything from specialty drinks to jazz nightlife. Its cozy setting in the heart of downtown Durham positions it as “the place to be… you!” To enhance the complete dining and entertainment experience and strengthen his company’s brand, Dorian Bolden, owner of Beyù, wanted a facelift of his Art Deco-inspired collateral. While his former menus exhibited the essence of Art Deco and the freshness of the European coffeehouse, their aesthetic needed to be unified across various print materials.

Kompleks Creative maintained the easy-to-follow layout of the food and beverage menus, while simplifying the design to the elegant simplicity that our client spoke of. In both the menus and the business cards, we paid homage to coffee and whetted appetites through brown, red and yellow tones. Simple illustrations of iconic Durham cityscapes provide a sense of familiarity for frequent patrons.

In 2013, we launched a new website design and began providing Beyù with a variety of digital marketing services.
