Eight years ago, a North Carolinian couple realized that the survival kits on the market were often comprised of low-quality gear. They thought that seemed a bit counterintuitive and committed themselves to do something about. In 2010, 5col Survival Supply was born. 5Col offers proven, reliable, high-quality survival kits and essentials that will thrive in any environment.

5Col’s first priority is quality and their brand needed to communicate that to their customers. Although they already had products, they needed help with branding. So, Kompleks Creative took inspiration from an army aesthetic to create the logo design and ended up with a rugged, geometric design for each of the five elements represented. Now, each product design is branded with easily-identifiable labels based on their purpose.
