Duke University Forum for Scholars and Publics

There's more below the fold

Strength in Community

A part of Duke University’s Trinity College of Arts and Sciences, the Forum for Scholars and Publics is a place where scholars and various local, national and global publics interact to generate greater exchange between the university and the world. An initiative rooted in community and conversation, Duke FSP wanted to revamp their branding to better represent their purpose.

Their current website was hard to navigate and didn’t clearly convey their values. They wanted it to be engaging with plenty of photos and videos, and to encourage exploration by highlighting relatable content. They instructed Kompleks Creative to “go bold.”

In an effort to not make the website design too Duke blue and too corporate, we incorporated colors that complement their teal logo. This approach infused the design with energy and personality. The new web design is scholarly, welcoming and informative while communicating their events and information, and prompting people to sign up for their newsletter.
