Established in 2005, the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University strives to make improvements to environmental policy-making worldwide through research on the climate crisis, the economics of limiting carbon pollution, adaptive water management approaches and other strategies. A big part of maximizing their impact is making sure that their information and research is accessible as a resource for policy decision makers.

Kompleks Creative was asked to develop a website for the Federal Resource Management and Ecocystem Services Guidebook, an online publication created to fulfill the expressed need of federal agencies for common, credible approaches to incorporate ecosystem services concepts into natural resource management, planning and decision making. We created a mobile-responsive, modern website design with an intuitive information architecture that makes it easy for users to find what they are looking for. The forward-thinking design also lends credibility to the website by visually establishing professionalism and a sense of being cutting edge. By utilizing WordPress as the content management system (CMS), the NESP team can easily perform updates to the website.
