You may recognize graphic designer, blogger and natural hair enthusiast Whitney White from the popular blog Naptural85. One day, her and her sister were surfing the web for creative firms that develop digital content for social channels and could bring their campaign ideas to life. They landed on Kompleks Creative’s website and after a few emails and conference calls, the partnership began.

It turns out that, after six years of creating their secret formula for healthy locks, they were ready to launch their first product, Melanin Haircare. We used their mood board to develop the promotional video concept, identified the filming locations and booked the talent. Our team partnered with Saleem Reshamwala at Kidethnic to film the video, while we provided creative direction and captured photos. We even wrote content for their blog and provided content — including posts, photos and graphics — for Melanin’s Instagram account.
