Num Num Sauce is a specialty craft condiment that originated in the backwoods of the deep south as a family hidden country secret. Today, it is still produced in small batches and contains just as much love as it did in the early 1940’s. But this time around, it is a healthier version that is low in sodium, fat-, gluten-, soy- and preservative-free.

Before stocking the shelves at Whole Foods in Durham, Num Num Sauce wanted to change the bottle, which meant a new label was required. Kompleks Creative decided that a typographic product design was ideal and would command attention when placed among other condiments on the grocery store shelf. To differentiate between the mustard and mild hot flavors, we incorporated colors of the sauce itself.
