The Art of Cool Festival is a remix of a black American music festival that takes place annually in Downtown Durham for a weekend of forward thinking jazz, alternative soul and mature hip hop. The 2018 headliners included Nas, Erykah Badu and Maxwell

In preparation for its five-year anniversary, the AOC Festival asked Kompleks Creative to produce a web design that accurately reflects the creativity, innovation and style of the festival and its musicians. The website not only had to be cool, but also intuitive with the user experience (UX) at the forefront. We expanded the festival’s color pallette and incorporated graphic elements to convey excitement and energy. The end result is a highly visual website design with large photos of artists and rich colors. We also worked on the anniversary logo design and provided graphic design for social media and the pitch deck.
