Watershed Ventures is a real estate redevelopment and investment firm focused on reactivating Danville’s River District in Virginia. By providing mezzanine loans and bridge loans to developers, their goal is to create a vibrant, diverse and sustainable urban center in downtown Danville.

Upon launch, Watershed was looking to represent their brand with a visual identity that conveyed professionalism, reputability and their values. Kompleks Creative decided to combine a clean, modern typeface for the word mark with an energetic logo icon. We played with the company’s initials and a classic color palette to create a logo design that suggested the visual of an actual watershed. The finished product is timeless and memorable, and versatile enough to meet all of Watershed Ventures’ needs. Following the completion of the logo design, we designed their business card, letterhead and envelope.
